Many of the people whom I’ve seen held up and lauded as leaders, have not in fact been leaders at all. But they have been vocal and self-promoting. I think this is a real problem, especially in Libraries. I wish the places that recognized good leadership would address this and that more investigation could be done to determine why someone is being held up as a leader..
